Carolyn L. (Barber) Banker, 84 of 12 Reed Street, Goffstown, died July 15, 2005 at Catholic Medical Center surrounded by her family and friends.<br><br>She was born in Westerly, RI on March 11, 1921, the daughter of Raymond and Mary (Langworthy) Barber and was a graduate of Westerly High School. She had been a Goffstown resident since 1985. Previous to that, she resided in Manchester and Londonderry. <br><br>She had been employed as co-manager of Rent-A-Space, along with her husband during the 1980s. Most of her life was dedicated to her family and grandchildren. She was also a loving and devoted wife.<br><br>In Her Life: Family members include her husband of 63 years, James A. Banker; four daughters, Barbara Bournival and her husband Paul of Bedford, Carol Powell of San Diego, CA, Tricia Horton of San Diego, CA and Donna Kittle and her husband, John of West Palm Beach, FL; two sons James Banker, Jr., and his wife Diana of Denmark, ME and Robert Banker and his wife Cheryl of Manchester; 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren, two sisters, Esther Young of Westerly, RI and Helen Cassano of Mount Kisco, NY; and many nephews, nieces and cousins.<br><br>A memorial gathering will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM with a memorial service to follow in the funeral home chapel at 9:45. Urn burial will take place in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.
