Carolyn F. Hucks Manchester, NH Age 72 of Hooksett, died Thursday February 2nd at the Elliot Hospital in Manchester. She was born on November 28, 1933 in Portsmouth, Virginia the daughter of Cecil C. and Elsie (Tompkins) Fletcher. She was a graduate of Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, Virginia. She spent the early years of her career as an elementary school teacher. After she began her family, she chose to stay at home to raise her two boys. Later in life, she enjoyed a career as a travel consultant with AAA. After her retirement, she moved to New Hampshire to be closer to her grandson and other family. Her interests included gardening, needlepoint and quilting. She was actively involved with the Hooksett Garden Club, continuing education classes at Southern New Hampshire University, and always enjoyed her special visits with family and friends. She is survived by her two sons; J. Bradford Hucks of Marietta, Georgia and R. Edmund Hucks and his wife Sandra of Manchester. In Her Life: Mrs. Hucks is also survived by her grandson Charles E.J.
