Carolyn was an amazing mother and grandmother who was always there in a time of need. The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Carolyn. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of her community in Manchester, NH.

Carolyn was born August 7, 1956, in the Bronx, New York to the late Dennis L. Sackey and Ina E. (Petersen) Sackey. She was the third of nine children, Jacklyn Sackey-Rush, Evelyn Sackey-Furgusion, Irene Sackey, and Cecilia Sackey. Carolyn was preceded in death by her sisters, Gilda Sackey, Debra Strickland, and Sandra Sackey-Watson and brother, Ecedro Linquist.

Carolyn graduated from Grace H. Dodge Vocational High School in Bronx, NY in 1974. Carolyn relocated to New Hampshire from the Bronx, New York in (1993). She loved her job and worked at Sanmina Corporation for 25 years where she developed meaningful friendships with many of her co-workers over the years.

Carolyn married the late Gregory Scott on August 19, 2006. She has 6 children, 2 who preceded her in death, Lamont Sackey, and Doniel Sackey. She is survived by her 4 children, Raheen Dukes, Kareem Sackey, Alicia Hilliard, and Gregory Scott; 17 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

All her adult children currently reside in Manchester, NH and are raising their families.

Carolyn welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm heart. She had an infectious smile and a pleasant personality that was contagious to everyone she met. Carolyn was always available to be a listening ear for family and friends. She truly loved to be loved and shared her love with all.

Carolyn had a unique style when she walked inside of a room. Everyone noticed her impeccable fashion. Entertainment was in her DNA. She loved anything that had to do with dancing and music. She loved going to the movies, concerts, Broadway shows, and karaoke. Her favorite song to perform was Gladys Knight and the Pips, Midnight Train to Georgia. She was in her zone. What a showstopper, priceless.

Later in life, Carolyn made it a point to return to God and attended Grace Capital Church, Pembroke, NH.
