CASEY A. PILLSBURY
LITTLETON, NH - Casey, known by some as "Slick", left us all on April 11th as the result of a tragic car accident leaving quite the legacy in his tracks.
Casey was an incredible individual who, to his mother's relief, graduated from Profile High School in 1993 while mooning the audience from the stage. He went on to work for Doppelmayr as a Steel Erection Specialist building and maintaining ski lifts across the country. When he returned to New Hampshire, he worked as a carpentry and roofing foreman learning the tricks of the trade enabling him to establish All Around Carpentry, LLC, his very own carpentry business. His eye for detail was astounding and he could build anything you could think up. His most recent position was as a Bridge Maintainer for the State of New Hampshire DOT.
Casey had a love for life that was unmatched. His sarcastic comments and inappropriate humor could always manage to make others smile (or roll their eyes). He was always dressed with an infectious smile on his face and a lack of underwear on his bum! One important piece of his legacy was educating people on the dangers of holding in your farts, of course he would lead by example with this life lesson as well as many others.
Casey lived a less than average lifespan, but he lived anything but an average life - packing far more experiences into his 43 years than most fit into a full lifetime. His regrets in life were few, but included a toxic cheeseburger from Wendy's once, yet it was rare that he would drive by a Wendy's without stopping to enjoying their Frostys.
Casey was the best dad in the world, sometimes even known as 'Mr. Mom' to his son Connor and his family. He was an amazing provider, role model, and friend to many and he would drop everything to help anyone who needed him. His heart was full of compassion and kindness for anyone who crossed his path.
Casey leaves behind his son, Connor Pillsbury of Littleton, NH.; his parents, Todd and Sue Pillsbury of Littleton, NH; his sister, Kyla Pillsbury of Andover, NH; his forever and always love, his soulmate, April Dow whom he affectionately referred to as 'Buns', of Littleton, NH; as well as her two boys, Devon and Ryan whom Casey treated as if they were his own; step daughter, Kelsi Towle from Jay, VT; grandmother Natalie Pillsbury of Belmont, NH; grandfather Arthur Paula and his wife Barbara of Campton, NH. Additionally he leaves his Uncle Ron and his wife Cindy Paula; his Aunt Arlene 'Rene' Andrews; his Uncle Mike Pillsbury, Uncle Tip Pillsbury, many cousins, as well as a shitload of friends who loved him an f'n ton too. His welcoming committee on the other side includes his Gram, Marion Paula; his Bub, Thomas Pillsbury, Sr.; and his Uncle, Terry Andrews.
We will celebrate Casey's life with calling hours on Friday, April 20th from 5-7pm at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home located at 101 Union Street in Littleton, NH. A Mass of Christian Rite will be held at 11am on Saturday, April 21st at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church on High Street in Littleton, NH, with Rev. Mark Dollard as Celebrant.
