Cecile M. Desbiens, 73, of Manchester, died at a local nursing home, September 12, 2000, after a lengthy illness. She was born in Manchester, NH on January 12, 1927, the daughter of Wilfrid and Alms (Houle) Poisson and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. Mrs. Desbiens retired from Pandora. She enjoyed sewing and was a parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. Family members include her husband of 53 years Henry Desbiens of Manchester, a son Albert Desbiens of Jaffery, NH, two grandchildren, a brother Roland Poisson of Manchester, NH, a sister Ellen Longchamps of Manchester, NH several nieces and nephews. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday morning at 10 o'clock in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
