Cecile A. Hudon, 85, of Manchester died April 16, 2007 at Catholic Medical Center following a brief illness. Cecile was born on November 9, 1921 in Lebanon, NH the daughter of Leo and Aeealeo (Paro) Thibeault. She spent most of her career in the shoe industry working in a variety of capacities for several local shoe companies. For over 15 years, she was a bus monitor for Easter Seals where she was still happily employed. In her earlier years, Cecile enjoyed camping with her family and making home cooked meals. Family trips to Cape Cod and collecting ceramic dolls were favorite pastimes. She was an avid Bingo player frequenting Amoskeag Bingo where she played with family and friends. Cecile was an honorary member of the Manchester Motorcycle Club. She was a strong woman and dedicated mother to her nine children. She was predeceased by her husband, Lucien Hudon in 1982. Family members include; six sons, Leo Hudon of Derry, Edward Hudon of Litchfield, Wilfred Hudon of North Carolina, Peter Hudon of Merrimack, David Hudon of Manchester and Paul Hudon of Manchester; three daughters, Laura Vallee of Manchester, Claire Griffin of Manchester and Jeannette Borun of Auburn; 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren; two sisters, Laura Dupuis of Hooksett and Jeannette Roux of Florida; many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. Calling hours will be Thursday, from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover Street. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday morning at 10:00 AM at St. Augustin Church with interment to follow in St. Augustin Cemetery.
