Cecile M. (Chaput) Lampron, 84 (48) of Manchester, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2014 at her home surrounded by her children, after a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Manchester on January 13, 1930, the daughter of the late Leopold and Beatrice (Blais) Chaput. She was devoted to her family whom she treasured every moment of her life. Her passions were bingo and traveling. She visited all fifty states, Canada and Europe. She worked as the head cook for Bartlett Elementary School until her retirement in 1997 after 33 ½ years of service. She was predeceased by her husband, Albani J. "Bunnie" Lampron in 1996.
Family members include three daughters, Pauline Marion and her husband Albert of Goffstown, Suzanne Brault and her husband Roland Jr., of Berlin, and Therese Lampron of Windham, ME; two sons, Gerard Lampron of Berlin, and Paul Lampron of Brunswick, VT; seven grandchildren, Kerry, Roland, Albert, Paul, Brian, Candi, and Jeremy; three great grandchildren, Dezarae, Issac, and Laney; two brothers, Donald Chaput and Richard Chaput, both of Weare; two sisters, Lorraine Carey of Manchester and Claudette Chauvette of FL; several nephews, nieces, and cousins, one aunt, two uncles, and many wonderful friends. We will always keep mom forever in our hearts.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday morning at 10:00 AM in St. Lawrence Church, Goffstown. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
