Charlene Yvette Nichols

September 11, 1957 — June 10, 2023

Goffstown, NH

Charlene Yvette (Dusseault) Nichols, 65, of Goffstown passed away peacefully on June 10, 2023 surrounded by her loving family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.

Born in Manchester on September 11, 1957, she was the daughter of Charles A. and Frances L. (Francoeur) Dusseault.  She was a graduate of Goffstown High School and earned her Medical Assistant Degree from Hesser College.

Charlene dedicated her life to her three daughters, especially as a full-time caregiver to her youngest, Caitlin.  Many days were spent chaperoning band trips, stepping up as Team Mom at West Jr Deb Softball, and volunteering with Rainbow Theater and Special Olympics.

Charlene loved spending time at Hampton Beach in the summer and traveling to Florida in the winter.  She could never pass up a competitive game of cards with her family and friends.  She loved entertaining and being the life of the party.  Above all else, she will be remembered as a loving mother, Memere, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

Family members include daughters Kelly Robidoux and husband, Charles, of Greenland, Brooke Drelick and husband, Travis, of Bedford, and Caitlin Nichols of Bedford; grandchildren Kyla, Tyler, Rory, and Charlotte; mother Frances Dusseault of Goffstown; sister JoAnn Fisher of Bedford; brothers Mike Dusseault and wife, Terry Seavey, of Candia and Charles R. Dusseault and wife, Kristen, of Manchester; sister-in-law Rebecca Dusseault of Manchester; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Charles A. Dusseault and brother, Steven R. Dusseault.

To the staff at Amedisys Hospice, there are no words to begin thanking you for all that you did in caring for our mother.  We are forever grateful.
