Charles G. Davis

Charles G. Davis Sr, 85, of Concord died Thursday, July 26, 2018 following a period of declining health.

Charles was born in Concord February 17, 1933 to John and Alice (Pasquill) Davis. He was a graduate of Concord High School and had a 42 year career as a Surveyor with the State of NH DOT. He enjoyed decades of summers on Newfound Lake. He enjoyed hockey and was the official scorer for Concord Eastern Olympics. Charlie was especially fond of his 17 year old cat, Whoopee Pie.

Charlie was predeceased by his loving wife of 61 years, Kathleen (Quimby) Davis in January of 2014, as well as his sons, Michael C. Davis in 1992 and John E. Davis II in 2017. He is survived by his children, Charles G. Davis, Jr., of Concord, NH, and Jonna and husband John Prendiville of Loudon, NH; Grandchildren Melissa and spouse Kelly Ducharme of Chichester, NH, Michael R. Matthews of Concord, NH, Brett M. Davis of Portsmouth, NH, and Christian Davis of Concord, NH.

Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service being held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 31st at Pine Grove Cemetery in East Concord. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice. Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Boscawen office, is assisting the family with arrangements.
