Charles W. Jaworski, 74, of Boscawen, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 29, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1947 in Concord, NH, son of the late Joseph and Margaret (Moody) Jaworski.
Charlie lived in Boscawen 40 years. Prior to his retirement in 2010, he worked for 26 years as a Maintenance Mechanic for Merrimack County Nursing Home.
Charlie was a man of 2 worlds, God’s kingdom and citizenship in his town. During his time living in Boscawen, he served on the Boscawen Conservation Commission, served as a volunteer firefighter, and prepared many racks of chicken over the years for the Boscawen Old Home Day Chicken BBQ. Charlie liked the simplicity of life, determined to be un-attached to the materialistic world. He enjoyed the simple life of farming his land, raising Hereford cows, and maintaining and driving old vehicles.
A true sheep who loved to hear his Shepherd’s voice, an avid Bible reader/student with a heart to obey and a love to talk about what he was learning with others. He desired to be God’s man and purposed to serve Him faithfully and well. A true shepherd to his flock he served in the nursing home. It was his greatest joy to be with them, ministering to their spiritual needs both in personal visits and worship services.
Along with his loving wife, Kathleen F. (Downing) Jaworski, of 46 years, he is survived by his daughter, Lisa; two grandchildren, Andrew and wife Sarah, Kyle and wife Megan; two great-grandchildren, Danielle and Dominic; five siblings, Leon and wife Janet, Edward and wife June, Jean, Carole and husband John, and Gail; his aunt Gladys; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
SERVICES: A Funeral Service will be held at Trinity Baptist Church, 80 Clinton Street in Concord at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 8, 2022. Family and friends are invited to attend. Interment will take place privately at Pine Grove Cemetery on Corn Hill Road in Boscawen.
