CHARLES J. KOMISAREK, JR. Charles J. Komisarek, Jr. CW3 NHARNG Retired, 72, of 10 Helen St. Manchester NH, died August 20, 2007, surrounded by his family after a period of failing health at CMC Hospital in Manchester. Charles was a life long resident of Manchester, born Oct 3, 1934, he graduated from Hesser Business school, was a member of the American Legion. He enjoyed playing golf, and traveling to Florida as well as cruising the Caribbean. Chief Warrant Officer Komisarek proudly served for 32 years with the NH Army National Guard. He was first deployed to Korea; upon returning he worked as the state personnel office and then became the First Sergeant of the 197th Field Artillery Brigade in Manchester. He graduated from the Sergeants Majors Academy, Fort Bliss, Texas in 1976; and later promoted to Warrant officer stationed as the State FORSTAT officer in the State Military Reservation, Concord. Upon retirement from the military, he worked for the NH State Liquor commission for 10 years and retired as the Manager of the Raymond store; and continued working afterwards part time with Merchant Motors in Hooksett as a vehicle driver. IN HIS LIFE: Surviving family members include his wife of 42 years Muriel C. Komisarek of Manchester, son Stephen M. Komisarek and his wife Lucinda two grandchildren Michael and Christopher all of Chester, NH, his sister-in-law Lorraine Pinard and a niece Suzanne Dozer both in Phoenix, AZ. SERVICES: A Memorial mass will be held at St. Peters Church, 537 Manchester Rd, Auburn, NH on Friday August, 24, at 11:00am. Burial services with Military Honors will follow at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 1:30.
