Charles T. "Chuck" Marchand, 42, of 59 Columbus Streeet, died suddenly January 9, 2000, at his residence. He was born in Manchester, NH on September 22, 1957, the son of Henri and Irene (Loranger) Marchand and had been a lifelong resident of the Queen City. He received his B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Boston College, in 1997 his computer science degree from Boston University and a graduate of West High School Class of 1975. He worked 20 years for the U.S. Postal Service retiring in 1994. Chuck was currently employed as a computer engineer at Conversant Communication. Family members include his wife of nine years Melanie (Young) Marchand, two sons, Chad Marchand and Zachary Marchand, a daughter Ashley Marchand, a brother, Richard Marchand, four sisters, Louise Marchand, Judy Gamache, all of Manchester, Mrs. Chris (Susan) Madden of NYC, NY and Mrs. Steven (Monique) MacIntyre of Rochester, NY, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Avenue, Wednesday evening from 5 to 8. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday morning at 10 o'clock in Ste. Marie Church. Burial will follow in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Outreach Therapeutic Riding Center, Paige Hill Road, Goffstown, NH 03045.
