CHARLES (CHUCK) RICHARDS
BETHLEHEM, NH - Chuck Richards, 57, of Bethlehem, NH, passed quietly on Tuesday, September 19th.
A native of Littleton, Chuck was born on November 28, 1948, a son to Charles Richards III and Eva (Adams) Richards Twombly.
He was a retired veteran having served in Vietnam receiving numerous medals for his honor and courage. As an avid motocross racer in his earlier years, Chuck received many trophies. He loved to work on his friends motorcycles as well as his own. His innovative mind and skill as a mechanic were equal to no one. He was a hunter and fisherman, but his favorite pass time was snowmobiling. Similar to motocross, he had a knack for fixing them. He loved to travel and did a considerable amount of snowmobiling out of state.
Chuck was very well known for his wonderful sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and always wanted to hear new ones. His quick-witted mind would leave a person in stitches every time. He was an excellent father and friend. He had many close and dear friends who loved him very much. He was adored by his family and always seemed to keep in touch with everyone. He will be missed greatly by all those who knew him.
Chuck is survived by his mother, Eva Twombly and step-father, Walter Twombly; two brothers, Jerry and Randall Richards; one sister, Shannon; and twin sons, Matthew and Joshua Richards.
SERVICES - A Celebration of his Life will be held at the VFW Howard Shawney Post #816 in Littleton in the late spring of 2007. For further information, please contact Matt at 1-603-455-3370.
