Charles Ludwig Walles Jr.

Charles (“Charlie”) L. Walles, Jr. passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, after a period of declining health at the Merrimack County Nursing Home. He was born in 1939 and grew up in Canterbury, NH. He graduated from Winnisquam Regional High School and later earned his Engineering Degree at New England College.

Charlie was a licensed Professional Engineer. He enjoyed a 30+ career at the New Hampshire Department of Transportation (NHDOT) in bridge design. He valued his colleagues and friendships made there.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Nancy (Pelletier). He is survived by his second wife, Constance. He enjoyed living in New Hampshire, Maine and Florida. He will be fondly remembered by his family and friends.

There will be private gathering for family at a later date.
