Charles Charlie F. Doucette, 56, of 216 North Road Candia, NH died July 19, 2007 at the Concord Hospice House, after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Manchester on January 13, 1951, the son of Charles and Genevieve (Grzywacz) Doucette and was a Manchester resident throughout his childhood. He had lived in Candia with his wife and children for the past 33 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Manchester Memorial High School and then went on to obtain his Associate degree in 1971 from the NH Technical Institute of Technology. In 1974 he and his family established CD Boiler Works; a Doucette family owned and operated business. He worked the business with passion and a smile and made many great friends throughout New England with his trade. Charlie loved working the land on Northway Farm, his home, where he shared much love and joy with his family. He enjoyed music greatly and his heart was one of true service to others. As a long standing member of the Candia Youth Athletic Association he coached his children throughout their youth in many sports. He was very involved in the Catholic community, especially with the SHARE program, and practiced his faith at St. Pauls Church in Candia. He was a loving and dedicated man to his family, his work, and his community. He was always there when you needed him with a kind word and a good deed. Other peoples needs always came before his own thus he was loved and adored by many. IN HIS LIFE: Family members include his wife of 35 years, Linda (Levandowski) Doucette; his father of Mancester; two daughters Jenny Doucette of New York, NY and Sara Doucette of Warwick, RI; a son Keith Doucette of Charleston, SC; one brother Stephen Doucette and his wife Fern of Manchester; a sister, Kathy Bournival and her husband Dave of Auburn; and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was precedeased by a brother, Kevin Doucette Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Sunday from 4 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning at 11:00 in St. Peter Church, Auburn.
