Charlotte M. (Poulin) Labbe, 87, of 25 Kendall Avenue, died September 7, 2002 at Ridgewood Healthcare Center in Bedford. She was born in the Province of Quebec, Canada on January 24, 1915, the daughter of Wilfred and Melanie (Lessard) Poulin and had been a Manchester resident for most of her life. She had worked in local textile mills for over forty years, retiring from Bee Bee Shoe Company as a quality control manager. She was a parishioner of St. Theresa Church for over fifty years. She loved listening to music and singing. She was predeceased by her husband Aime Labbe who died in 1974 and by a son, Steve Y. Labbe who died in 2001. Family members include four grandchildren, Susan Foster of Manchester, Steve Labbe of Dunbarton, Dennis Labbe of Manchester and Catherine Abbott of Deering; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Pearl Beaulieu of CT; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. A calling hour will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Tuesday morning from 9:30 to 10:30. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11:00 AM in St. Theresa Church. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
