Hopkinton, NH – Charlotte Jean (Clark) Paul went to be with her Savior on Tuesday, March 4, 2025. Charlotte was born on April 4, 1936, in Keene, NH to Carl and Margaret Clark. She attended school in Grafton and Hopkinton. Charlotte was the Class Treasurer of the 1954 graduating class at Hopkinton High School.
She attended Plymouth State College from 1954-1956, entered the U.S. Air Force 1956-1959. She continued her education at Mount St. Mary College in Hooksett, NH from 1972-1974 where she earned her degree in elementary education. During that time, she was honored as the “outstanding student teacher of the year,” student teaching first and second grade at Millville School in Concord.
Charlotte began working at New England Telephone Company in 1958 and remained there until 1982. She worked at the Concord Hospital Call Center from 1981 until 2013.
Charlotte was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army in Concord where she was INCREDIBLY involved in the Children’s Ministries from 1962-2016. Along with her husband, she volunteered at the Salvation Army Camp Sebago in Standish, Me from 2000-2018. In 2014 she was the Northern England Soldier of the Year.
Also, along with her husband, was a foster parent, from 1969-1996 to many children.
Charlotte was predeceased by her parents, her sister Commissioner Frances (Albert) Scott, brothers Albert Clark and George Wayne (Ella) Clark and three children, Baby Boy Paul, Carl Jonathan Paul, and Cheryl Jean Paul.
She will forever be loved and cherished by her husband of 61 years, Charlie Paul; Daughter Charlene (Greg) Caler, Sons Norman and Tony Huckins; Grandchildren Caitlyn (Sean) Bohanan and Zachary (Sarah) Calley; Great grandchildren Charlie and Clara Bohanan and Julianna Dubuque; Sister Major Joy Emmons and many Nieces and Nephews.
Services will be held on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at 11 a.m. at the Salvation Army, 58 Clinton Street, Concord, NH with a light luncheon following the service.
