Cherylanne (Lafond) Tremblay, 60, of Hooksett NH, passed away unexpectedly on January 7th, 2022. She was born on January 26, 1961 to the late Gerard Lafond & Doris (St. Onge) Bergeron, and would go on to marry her best friend, Emile, with whom she shared 24 years with and 15 years of marriage.
Cheryl was a lifelong resident of New Hampshire, where she was always surrounded by a large and loving family. It was here that she raised 7 kids, all of whom were the light of her life, as family was the most important thing in the world to her.
Those who had the privilege of knowing Cheryl will remember a kind, generous and cheerful friend, and mother to all. She worked as a bus driver for children with special needs for many years, a job that she loved dearly. She also loved going to the beach, especially Hampton Beach, going camping with her family, snowmobiling, and just being outside as much as possible. Above all else, Cheryl loved her family immensely, and will be deeply missed by all whose lives she touched.
Cheryl has joined her parents, her son Jonathan Lafond Sr. her brother Germain Lafond and sister Roxanne High in heaven. She is survived by her husband Emile Tremblay; sister Julie Dowler, sons David Lafond Sr, Kevin Lafond, Keith Lafond, Brian Johnson Jr. & Brandon Tremblay; daughter Shawna Mandigo; 7 step-siblings; 17 grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Cheryl’s life will be held on Friday, January 14th from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St, Manchester, NH.
Donations can be made to Phaneuf Funeral Homes to help pay for her funeral expenses.
