Cheryl Margarita Voight

Cheryl Margarita Voight, 75, of Deerfield, New Hampshire, passed away on October 10, 2026, at Concord Hospital in Concord, NH. She was born on October 24, 1950, in Warren, Pennsylvania, to Joseph and Phyllis McConnell and later grew up in Tewksbury, MA. 

She married Robert Voight at the age of 16, and they shared nearly 60 years together. Cheryl was a strong, resilient woman who made everyone who crossed her path feel like part of the family. She gave more than she had — whether she was helping raise her grandchildren or looking out for a neighbor's kid — and nobody ever left her kitchen table empty-handed. She loved getting together with family and friends, reading romance novels, telling stories, working in her garden, and collecting cast-iron yard decor. 

She is survived by her husband, Robert; her children, Donald, David, Steven, and Cheryl-Ann; her siblings, Kevin, Keith, and Donna; her grandchildren, Yvonne, David Jr, Joshua, Sean, Sarilyn, Amber, Sarah, Samantha, Alex, Kyle and Kurtis; and her great-grandchildren, Shayne, Makayla, Emmett, Zackary, Vivian, Abel, Damien, Peyton, and Autumn. She was preceded in death by her siblings Sharon, Bruce, Robin, Melvin, son Paul, and her grandson, Nicholas.

A celebration of life will be held on Monday November 2nd from 1 to 4pm at McGarvey’s. 1097 Elm street, Manchester, NH.
