Chester R. Colby

Chester R. Colby, 71, of Concord, NH, died Monday, June 17th, 2024. He was born in Franklin, NH, on October 18, 1952, to C. Howard Colby and Marjorie L. (Morrill) Colby.

Chester’s surviving siblings include Sharon Adair, Michael Colby (Shirley), Ray Colby (Sheilah), Lynne Brennan, Janice Alarie (Charlie), and Deborah McHenry (Robert). He also leaves behind the child that he helped raise, Melanie Adair-Lavin, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his niece Erica Smith, and his nephew Jack Adair.

Chester served in the US Army from January 28, 1971 – January 23, 1973, and served several years in the Reserves. He worked and retired from Lincoln Financial.
