Chester C. Raymond

Chester C. Raymond, 85, of Manchester NH, passed away on January 28th, 2021 at the Pleasant View Center in Concord, NH. He was born on June 16, 1935 to the late Chester Raymond Sr. & Julia (Smasz) Raymond in Manchester NH.

Chester was a lifelong resident of Manchester where he attended high school at Bishop Bradley, College at New Hampshire college and he would go on to start his own accounting practice, the Chester Raymond PA Accounting Firm in Manchester as well. Chester built his firm from the ground up and was the proud owner and operator for over 50 years. He was also the president of the NH Board of Accountants and was passionate about his role in New Hampshire accounting practices.

Chester was always a hard working and passionate person who poured his energy into whatever he set his mind to. In addition to being on the Board of NH Accountants, he was also a long-standing member of the Knights of Columbus as well as the Kiwanis Club. Finally, Chester served in the US Army and was proud of his service to his country for his entire life.

Chester is survived by his daughter Nancy Vukmirovits; son Matthew Raymond; daughter Patricia Quagliaroli; son Christopher Raymond and his 5 grandchildren Isabella, Benjamin, James Jr., Lia & Brystol.

A Memorial Gathering for Chester will be held on Saturday, February 6th from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester NH, with a service beginning at 2:00 PM.
