Obituary

Listen to Obituary

With hearts full of gratitude and sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Christina “Chris” Siebert, who took her final bow — with bravery and an open heart — surrounded by her loving children on October 1st, 2026, at the age of 90. She was a woman of extraordinary beauty, strength, and vibrance.

Our mom lived a full and blessed life, moving through each chapter with grace and courage. She will be deeply missed by her family, who loved her with all their hearts. Above all else, she was loving, accepting, and generous — to her family, her friends, and the community she cherished. She was genuinely loved by everyone whose path she crossed.

Chris was an engaged member of the Ledgewood Hills community, serving on the board for over a decade and continuing in a support role until this year. She was a lifelong learner and active participant in the RISE senior program. She was also a member of St. Philip Greek Orthodox Church and a familiar face at the annual Greek Festivals. Her passions were flowers and baking; she was always clipping new recipes or watching cooking shows, eager to experiment and share her creations with friends and family. Among her many culinary traditions, her chocolate desserts held a special place in the hearts of her grandchildren, who eagerly awaited — and often playfully demanded — it at every celebration.

Throughout her long career, she worked as an executive assistant — a role she excelled in well into her 80s. She held positions at Digital Equipment Corporation, Data General, and BAE Systems. She spent her early years in New York City before moving to Massachusetts in the late 1950s. She settled in Framingham until 1976, when she moved to Nashua, NH, where she remained for the rest of her life.

She is survived by her loving children: Kristine Siebert and her partner Vic Horne, of Redmond, WA; and Rick Siebert and his wife Paula Harrington Siebert, of Ipswich, MA. She is survived by a sister; Helen Stephanides from Bayside, NY. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Alex Wood and her husband Eric Wood, of Bellevue, WA; Caroline Siebert, of Charlestown, MA; Malorie Kerouac and her husband Nick Rudella, of Seattle, WA; Abigail Cook and her husband Oliver Cook, of Charlestown, MA; and Jack Siebert, also of Charlestown, MA. She leaves behind four great‑grandchildren: Isla Wood (Age 6), Emery Wood (Age 4), Enzo Kerouac‑Rudella (Age 2), and Johnny Cook (Age 1).
