Christine (Miller) Demetrakopoulos, 83, of Concord and formerly of Hooksett and Newport, died June 9, 2006 at the Pleasant View Center in Concord. She was born in Newport on November 16, 1922, the daughter of Angelo and Jennie (Goulionis) Miller. She lived in Newport for over fifty years before moving to Hooksett in the 1970s. She had been a Concord resident since 2005. She was a graduate of Newport High School. She and her husband owned and operated Teddys Restaurant in Newport for more than thirty years. After that she worked for the State of New Hampshire in the Water Supply and Pollution Control Department. She was a past member of St. Vasilios Greek Orthodox Church in Newport, where she was active member and past President of the Ladies Society and also taught Sunday school. She was a current member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral where she belonged to the Anagennesis Society and the Daughters of Penelope. In Her Life: Family members include her husband of 59 years, Theodore A. Demetrakopoulos; three daughters, Cheryl Athanas of Bedford, NH, Diane Miminos of Andover, MA and Brenda Perry of Manchester, NH; four grandchildren; Christopher Athanas of Merrimack, NH, Jonathan Athanas of Bedford, NH, Nicholas Miminos and Alexis Miminos, both of Andover, MA; a sister, Elizabeth Kouchalakos of Nashua, NH and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 4 to 7 PM. The Trisageon service will take place in the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday morning at 11:00 in St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester with burial to follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
