Christopher J. Amato

Christopher J. Amato, 54, of 502 Chestnut Street, Manchester, NH, died July 26, 2007 at his residence. He was born in Pomona, CA on September 12, 1952, the son of Vincent and Margaret (Tarwater) Amato, Jr. and had lived many years in Athol and Gardner, MA before moving to Manchester over 20 years ago. He was a 1971 graduate of Gardner High School where he played baseball and football. He had been a flee market vendor for many years. He loved the NY Yankees and was an avid baseball card collector. He enjoyed cars and motorcycles. Family members include his step-mother, Constance (Dion) Amato of Gardner, MA; a sister, Lucinda Amato of Everett, MA, a step-sister, Cheryl Amato of Everett, MA; and several cousins. A memorial services is scheduled in MA later this summer. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, Manchester, NH is in charge of arrangements.
