Christopher Domian, age 53, of Sunapee, NH died unexpectedly on Monday, May 10, 2010 after a long period of declining health. He was the beloved husband of Dianne Jones Perkins. He was born on December 29, 1956 in Manchester, NH. Chris was the son of Gloria Therese (Labore) Domian of Manchester, NH and the late Walter Ladislaw Domian. A life long resident of New Hampshire, he graduated from the Memorial High School in Manchester and went on to earn a Bachelor’s degree at the University of New Haven. He earned his Master’s Degree from the Graduate School of Business at NH College in Manchester. Chris started his long career in law enforcement with the Concord Police Department. He also served as Chief of Police in the town of Sunapee. He loved both of his positions with the State of NH; first as investigator with the White Collar Crime and Public Integrity Unit in the Criminal Bureau and his current position as a Financial Analyst with the Medicaid Fraud Unit; both within the State of New Hampshire, Department of Justice, Office of the Attorney General. Besides his wife and mother, Chris is survived by his stepchildren: Sarah Prescott, Eric Prescott and Wendy Moloy all of Concord; three siblings: Judith Kloeppel of Manchester, NH, Walter Domian and his wife Elaine of Merrimack, NH and Gary Domian of Rochester, NH, currently stationed in Afghanistan. He also leaves his nephew and godchild Derek Domian, niece Melissa Domian, niece Kristin Riedell and nephew Erick Kloeppel, Chris is also survived by three sisters in law: Kathryn Perkins and her husband, David Desruisseault of Concord; Jeannine David and her husband, Gary of Concord and Brenda Bladen Watts and her husband Joe of Kittery, Maine: two brothers in law; Robert Perkins and his wife Eva of Knoxville, Tennesee and William Perkins of Leadville, Colorado. He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews. Chris truly loved fishing all year long and enjoyed having his friends, and especially his brothers and nephew, join him in the winter to share the joys of ice fishing. Services: A Celebration of Chris’ Life will be held Saturday, May 22 at St. John’s Church, 72 South Main Street in Concord, NH, at 11:00 AM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to one of Chris’ fondest organizations; the SPCA or a local Animal Shelter or, if someone chose to, he would feel honored by anyone wishing to make a donation to a charity or cause closest to their hearts.
