Christopher Michael Kobylis, age 28, of Manchester died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 20, 2012. He was the son of Brenda (Booth) Kobylis and Ed Kobylis both of Manchester, NH.

He was born September 10, 1984 in Methuen, MA. He was raised in New Hampshire and attended Pinkerton Academy in Derry. For many years, he worked in construction including Putnam Concrete. Most recently he was employed at the Market Basket Supermarket in the produce department.

He enjoyed the outdoors and brought much joy to his family and friends.

Besides his parents, he is survived by his sister, Laura Kobylis of Weare, NH, her two sons: Landon and Brayden and his brother-in-law Damien Gill. He also leaves his maternal grandmother, Lois Booth of Plymouth, MA, his paternal grandmother Thea Kobylis of Salem, NH, his aunt Karen Sweeney and her husband Paul of Wilmington, MA, his uncle Robert Kobylis of Salem, NH and several cousins.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 from 5:00 – 7:00pm in the chapel at the Phaneuf Funeral Home and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104. A Funeral Service will follow at 7:00pm.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Granite State Credit Union, c/o Christopher Kobylis, 1415 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03108.
