Christopher Leonard Pelletier, age 61, of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2025.

He was born on October 8th, 1964 in Claremont, NH to Donald & Beverly Pelletier.

Christopher served in the US Army for several years, and will be remembered for his many honors earned including Army Commendation and Achievement Medals, National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Armed Forces Reserve Medals, and Kuwait Liberation Medals. He served in the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) in Korea, and at Ft. Drum service to the 325th Transportation Company. After his Honorable Discharge from the US Army, he then enlisted into the 368th Engineer Battalion U.S. Army Reserve in Manchester, NH as a Motor Transport Operator MOS 88M. All the units together including the 619th Transportation Company from Auburn, Maine were part of the 167th Support Group from the 94th US Army Reserve Command based at Fort Devens, MA. The 619th is where he served during Operation Desert Shield/ Operation Desert Storm 1990-1991. Upon returning from Saudi Arabia he was once again awarded an honorable discharge from The US Army back to Reserve status in Keene, NH with the 433rd Civil Engineering Squadron USAFR, a NH State Government liaison.

Christopher enjoyed driving, especially big rigs and motorcycles. When he was younger, he enjoyed Scouting, painting, skiing, playing ice hockey, and going on many camping adventures with his parents and sister. He also loved to sing and play his guitar, including in the Infant Jesus Church folk group in Nashua, NH, where he grew up. As his parents taught him, he was always happy to help when there was someone in need. Many people remember him for his kindness and great sense of humor.

He is survived by his sister Jackie Becker and brother-in-law Duane Becker of Fairfax, VT; his nephew Alexander Hirtle (Cassie) and 4 great-nieces & great-nephew of WA state. He is also survived by his sister Kerrie Lambert (Paul), his brother Eric Symes, and brother Rob Murphy of NH. He also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles, and many friends, including his Army “brothers & sisters.”

Christopher was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Beverly Pelletier.

Calling hours for Christopher will be held on Monday, January 5th from 9 AM to 10 AM at the St. Theresa Catholic Church at 158 Old W. Hopkinton Rd. Henniker, NH, 03242, with a Funeral Mass beginning at 10 AM. He will be laid to rest at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH at 12 PM.   

Donations may be made to the VFW or Helping Hands of Manchester, NH. The family is very grateful for the care and support of the VA and Helping Hands especially in this past year.
