Claire Lucianne Burnett

Claire Lucianne Burnett, 91, of Goffstown, NH, passed away at Elliot Hospital on June 23, 2024. Born in Pinardville on March 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Delphis and Marie (Beland) Lamontagne. She was married to the late Douglas J. Burnett Jr.

Claire was raised in Manchester and worked for both the Pandora Factory and Carol Cable for many years before returning to school at age 55. She became a Licensed Nursing Assistant and worked for Hillsborough County Nursing Home until her retirement. She enjoyed shopping, bonding with her pet dogs over the years, and socializing with family and friends, and especially enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren.

Claire is survived by her son, Robert Burnett and his wife Vilma of Goffstown; her grandchildren, Sean and Ian Burnett of Goffstown; her longtime friend, Dee Stevens; as well as other extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Claire was predeceased by her brothers, Wilfred, Armand, George and Leo Lamontagne.

Services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Visitation from 9:30AM-10:30AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00AM at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 14 Elm Street, Manchester. Burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Manchester.
