Claire P Gagnon

Claire P. (Beaudry) Gagnon, 88, of Webster, NH, beloved wife of 42 years of Richard H. Gagnon, passed away from a courageous ten year battle with dementia on Friday, April 22, 2022.

She was born in Rumford, Maine on July 18, 1933, daughter of the late Eugene and Mildred (Paquette) Beaudry.  At the age of 8, she moved to Connecticut where she was raised and lived in Bridgeport, CT until 1982. She then moved to Naugatuck, CT and retired to Webster, NH in 1999.

Before retirement, Claire was a waitress at many diners in the Bridgeport, Fairfeild and Westport, CT area. Her hobbies included listening and going to concerts of country & western music, bowling, knitting, jigsaw and book puzzles, reading Daniel Steele books, along with being an avid New York Yankee fan. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family.

Claire was predeceased by her son, Anthony J. Seminoro, formerly of Bridgeport and Waterbury, CT; four brothers; six sisters; as well as grandson, Michael A. Seminoro formerly of Shelton and Milford, CT.  

Along with her husband, Richard, she is survived by her children, Theresa Carroll and husband Walter of of Shelton, CT, Mary Karlovich and husband Lawerence of Sanford, NC, Robin Hamm and husband Carlton of Concord, NH, Ricky Gagnon and wife Sharon of Fairfield, CT, Sharon Shannon and husband John of Webster, NH, Debbie Bourque and husband Gerry of Berlin, NH, and Billy Gagnon and wife Rita of Berlin; a brother, Leo Beaudry and wife Louise of Shelton, CT; a brother-in-law, Robert O. St. Pierre of Manchester, CT; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street in Boscawen, NH on Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 1-2pm. A memorial service will immediately follow the gathering, 2pm, at the Funeral Home. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
