Claire Kirouac

Claire B. (Trahan) Kirouac, 85, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Holy Cross Health Center, surrounded by her family.

Born in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Lucien and Adrienne (Lemay) Trahan. A lifelong resident of Manchester, Claire married the love of her life, the late Camille Kirouac, in1952. The young couple settled in Manchester to raise their beautiful family. Throughout the years, Claire work diligently at a variety of jobs to help provide for her growing family.

A dedicated wife, mother, memere, sister, aunt, and friend, Claire's family was paramount in her life. She cherished time spent with her family and dear friends. Claire especially loved family functions and celebrations as she made those around her feel special. A devout Catholic, Claire found great comfort and strength in the Christian faith. Claire will be best remembered for her quick wit, zest for life, and love of family.

Claire is survived by her three sons, Robert, Paul and wife Nina, and Gerald and wife Linda; six grandchildren, Mathew, Lanie, Courtney, Andrew, Henry, and Jeffrey; four great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Claire was predeceased by her husband, Camille; and two sisters, Doris Dionne and Lillian Trahan.

ARRANGEMENTS: Her Visitation will be held in the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester, on Wednesday, February 28 from 4:00 to 7:00P.M. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated in the Parish of the Transfiguration, 108 Alsace St., Manchester, on Thursday, March 1 at 9:00A.M. Entombment to follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Goffstown Rd., Manchester. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Holy Cross Health Center, in Claire Kirouac's memory, 357 Island Pond Rd., Manchester, NH 03109.
