Claire C. Stone

Claire C. Stone, 82, of Bedford, died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday March 22nd.

Claire was born in Nashua August 21, 1929, the daughter of the late Victor and Annette (Desrosier) Cote and received a Master's Degree in Nursing from Rivier College. Before having children, she loved her job as a nurse anesthesiologist.

Claire loved to sew clothing and go antiquing and also had a keen eye for fashion. She was a former member of Hampshire Hills and the Manchester Country Club where she enjoyed playing tennis.

Claire is survived by her son Sean Stone and his wife Amy of McLean, Va.; her daughter Susan Doherty and her husband Timothy of Hingham, Ma.; her sister Colette LaRoche and her husband Donald of Nashua; six grandchildren, William, Owen, Padraic, Griffin, Emma and Benjamin; and one nephew, Kevin LaRoche . She was predeceased by her loving husband, of 45 years, William P. Stone. She will be greatly missed by her two yorkies, Sam and Babe.

A private Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, March 29th.
Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, Manchester office, is assisting the family with arrangements.
