Claire R. Valentin

Claire R. (Houle) Valentin, 57, of 749 Corning Road, died February 7, 2007 at the Elliot Hospital. She was born in Manchester on February 4, 1950, the daughter of Edward and Therese (Boudreau) Houle and had been a lifelong resident of the City. Before her illness, she had worked in the environmental services department at the Elliot Hospital. She was a parishioner of the Parish of the Transfiguration. She loved to go to concerts, karaoke, and listen to music. Family members include her parents of Pinardville; three sons, Keith Valentin and Tony Valentin, both of Boscawen and Christopher Valentin of CA; three grandchildren; two brothers, Ernest Houle of Manchester and Roger Houle of Bow; a sister, Diane Cote of Manchester; and several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Friday morning from 9 to 11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. Burial will take place in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help defray final expenses.
