Claude George Grenon, born on December 13, 1933, in Dolbeau, Lake St. Johns, P.Q. Canada, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, in the outdoors on June 25, 2026, at 6:10pm after a fast period of declining health.

He was the son of Joseph and Elise (MacMullen), and at the age of 3, his family immigrated to the United States, where they established their new home in Manchester, New Hampshire. Claude would go on to spend most of his adult life in Bedford, keeping his roots close to his family.

Claude married his beloved wife Barbara Grenon on August 1, 1959, with whom he shared 57 wonderful years of life until she passed in August of 2016.

After graduating from Bishop Brady High School in 1952, Claude would go on to enlist in the United States Navy, where would proudly serve 4 years as a Class-A Radioman during the Korean War. Once his service was completed, he found himself working in construction building houses, lending him the skill to build his own log cabin home in Bedford. Later on, he worked for AIG bank for over 20 dedicated years.

Claude was an avid outdoorsman and loved fishing and hunting. He also took great pleasure playing golf, bowling, and playing cribbage and cards with his friends and family. Claude was an incredible musician and would entertain friends and family for hours with his beautiful music on the piano and accordion.

Claude was not only a hard worker when it came to getting things done, but he was also a kind and compassionate soul, who put his family above all else. Claude was not only dependable in his professional work, but also when it came to his family, where he would always be there to count on for love and support when it was needed most.

He is preceded in death by his loving wife Barbara Grenon, his daughter Lorraine Gendron, and his son Michael Grenon.

Claude is survived by his 8 grandchildren; Melissa, Jennifer, Samantha, Robert, Kaitlyn, Liberty, Megan, and Paul; and his 8 great-grandchildren; Alexis, Emily, Stanley, Daniella, Olivia, Grayson, Junior and Bennett.

Services will be held on June 2, 2026, at 10:30am at Mount Calvary Cemetery in the mausoleum, 474 Goffstown Road, Manchester, NH, 03102.
