Claudine Fluet, 84, of Manchester died December 19, 2012 at the Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health.
She was born on April 28, 1928 in Canada the daughter of Charles and Salome (Roberge) Nadeau. She was a resident of Manchester since 1960.
Mrs. Fluet had worked for Johnson Shoe and retired from the Hillsborough County Court House.
She was a longtime active parishioner of St. Anthony Church where she was a member of the Dames de St. Anne and the bereavement committee.
Claudine enjoyed playing all card games especially cribbage, family gatherings and dinners and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling all over especially to Florida, Washington State and Texas.
Family members include her daughter, Jacqueline Raczka and her husband John of Kent, WA; two sons, Michael Fluet and his wife Gloria of Candia and Dr. Norman Fluet and his wife Betty of Waco, TX; eight grandchildren, Jared Raczka, Jeremy Raczka, Tiffany Covert, Jaime Raczka, Kaitlin Gentile, Jocelyn Stockton, Ryan Fluet and Rebeka Fluet; 3 great grandchildren, Sawyer Covert, McKenzie Covert, Emma Raczka and two on the way; sister, Leonie Frenette of Scarborough, ME; her special niece, Jeannine Cote and several niece and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Roland Fluet who died in 2003.
Calling Hours are at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover St, Manchester on Friday 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 10:00AM at St. Anthony Church, 172 Belmont St, Manchester. Committal Prayers will follow in the mausoleum chapel at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Donations in Claudine's memory can be made to Mt.
