CLIFFORD A. HIRTLE, JR.
HOOKSETT â Clifford A. Hirtle, Jr., 65, died on Sunday, April 10, 2011, at his residence in Hooksett.
Mr. Hirtle was born on July 12, 1945, in Peterborough, NH, the son of the late Clifford A. and Dolly (Welch) Hirtle, Sr. He was a resident of Hooksett since 1983. Prior to this he lived in Epsom.
Mr. Hirtle was a veteran and served in the United States Air Force.
Prior to his retirement in December 2006, Mr. Hirtle was employed for 29 years, as a quality engineer for Kollsman in Merrimack, NH.
He was a member of the VFW, Post 8641, in Merrimack, NH. His hobbies and interests include; fly fishing, playing cribbage and going to Mohegan Sun.
Members of his family include; his wife of 29 years, Maureen M. (Powers) Hirtle, of Hooksett, NH; three daughters, Andrea J. Audet, of Chester, MA; Jennifer L. Merrill, of Loudon, NH; Christine M. Hirtle, of Raymond, NH; five grandchildren; a brother, Howard Hirtle, of Ft. Myers Beach, FL; and one niece.
IN HIS LIFE: In addition, other family members include; Spooky, his cat who became his best friend and nap buddy. For the past 29 years, Mr. Hirtle played two games of Yahtzee every morning, with his wife, Maureen. Cliff and Maureen shared the same birthday and are soul mates. The family would like to extend a special thank you to âUncle Johnâ, who was a dear friend.
SERVICES: A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, April 15, from 5:00 â 8:00 PM at the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 243 Hanover Street, corner of Union Street, in Manchester.
