Clifford B. Murgatroy, a devoted husband, father, and grampy, passed away peacefully on June 16, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH. He was born on August 30, 1943, in Plymouth, NH, to Bernard Murgatroy and Mabel (Murgatroy) Emmons. He graduated from Plymouth Area High School in 1961 and pursued further education at Hesser Business College, graduating in 1964. Cliff lived in Manchester, NH, until he moved to Goffstown in 1979. He returned back to Manchester about 20 years ago, where he cherished the remainder of his days among family and friends.

Cliff's career spanned several decades in finance and accounting and was a beloved figure in the Manchester area, where he worked at various car dealerships beginning in the 1970s, most recently as the Warranty Administrator for Werner Mazda, from which he retired in 2014.

Beyond his career, Cliff was known for his unwavering dedication to his family. He took immense pride in being a father and grandfather. There was nothing he enjoyed more than spending time with his children and grandchildren, whether it was coaching his son’s hockey teams or capturing the joyous moments at youth sports events. Known for his resourcefulness, he often tinkered with things around the house, fixing and building as he saw fit.

Cliff had a passion for the outdoors, and could often be seen spending countless hours tending to his home and garden. He loved the tranquility that came from boating and fishing on Squam Lake, creating lasting family memories amidst the natural beauty he adored. He also had an eye for wildlife, taking delight in observing the woodland creatures that visited his home.

A dedicated sports enthusiast, Cliff was an avid NASCAR fan and a loyal supporter of New England sports teams. He held season tickets to the Manchester Monarchs hockey team and was recognized as a familiar presence at their games, embodying the spirit of community support.

Cliff shared a beautiful life with his beloved wife Catherine, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving son Scot Murgatroy and his wife Nicki Murgatroy; and his loving daughter Amy (Murgatroy) Pryor and her husband Peter Pryor; and his cherished grandchildren: Cameron Murgatroy and his wife, Madi Murgatroy, Alyson Murgatroy, Charlotte Pryor, and Danny Pryor.
