Cono M. Flores

Cono M. Flores, 76, of Manchester, NH, passed away unexpectedly on December 24, 2022 at home with family at his side. He was born on April 1^st, 1946 to the late Jose Pedro Flores & Maria Irene Muniz, and would go on to marry the love of his life, Estela Flores Silva, with whom he shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Uruguay, Cono attended school on Florida, Uruguay and would later join the Uruguayan military in 1976. After marrying Estela in Montevideo and moving to the US, Cono would work as a machine operator at Wuambec in NH and later at Jac Pac for over 35 years. He would eventually retire after 13 years of employment at Summit Packaging Systems and part time employment at the Yard Restaurant.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Cono will remember a kind and spirited man who had a skill for getting along with anyone he met. He loved playing card games with his friends and was a lifelong fan of football and soccer, especially the New England Patriots and Las Aquilas de America. Above all else, Cono loved spending time with his two dogs, his granddaughter, his family, and many friends. He will be dearly missed by all whose lives he touched.

Cono is predeceased by 1 sister and 2 brothers. He is survived by his loving wife Estela Flores Silva; daughter Raquel De La Rosa Castillo; son-in-law Jomen David De La Rosa Castillo; granddaughter Carmen De La Rosa Castillo; brothers Jose, Antonio, Jorge, Juan, Alciedes & Maximo; sisters Nancy & Sonia; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

Calling Hours for Cono will be held on Tuesday, January 3^rd from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. A funeral service will be held the following day at 10:00 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes, with a burial following at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
