Constance D. (Hunewill) Campbell, 98, of Exeter, passed away on June 10, 2025, at Exeter Hospital.
She was born in Melrose, MA on December 24, 1926, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Anna (Moran) Hunewill. She attended Salem State Teachers College. Constance worked as a first and second grade teacher for the Manchester School system for many years. She was an accomplished painter and loved gardening and birdwatching. She was a 45 year member of Alpha Delta Kappa (ADK) Teachers Society. She was the widow of Robert S. Campbell who died in 2020.
Family members include two sons, James “Jim” Campbell and his wife Cheryl Pamula-Campbell of Hampton and David Campbell and his wife Bronwyn of Nashua; a daughter Kathleen McCarthy of Ashland; six grandchildren, Stacey Ogden, Heather Neal, Michael McCarthy, Mariah Campbell, Brenna Campbell and Matthew Campbell; nine great grandchildren; a brother, Lawrence Hunewill of MA; three sisters, Trisha Burnham of VA, Beverly Gerade of MA and Grace Pinkham of AL; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
A calling hour will take place at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Monday, June 16th from 10 to 11 AM with a funeral service to follow at 11 AM.
