Constance B. Furgal, 66, of Manchester passed away Thursday following a period of declining health. The last day of her life was one full of smiles, laughter and time spent with her family.
A lifelong resident of Manchester, Connie was born on November 21, 1947 to the late Edgar Leclerc and Jeanne (Beland) Leclerc. Connie dedicated her life to helping others. She spent most of her working years as a housekeeper but provided so much more through her dedication and personal level of care, often becoming a cherished and invaluable part of the families she worked for. She enjoyed being outside, whether it was to tend to her elaborate herb, vegetable and flour gardens, or just out on a nature walk. Connie loved her children and grandchildren very much and she strived to be the best mother she knew how to be. Connie brought smiles to the faces of everyone she passed and joy to the hearts of all who knew her. Her loss will be felt by many.
Connie is survived by her daughters, Tina Carter of Pembroke and Tammy Hourihan of Salem; her mother, Jeanne Leclerc of Manchester; her sister, Diana Maurice of Manchester; her brother, Edgar Leclerc, Jr.; 3 grandchildren, Kaden Lantz, Gianna Hourihan and Matthew Hourihan; and 2 nephews.
