Constance P. Gagne

Bedford – Constance P. Gagne, 78 died November 1, 2014 at the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester.

She was born on April 14, 1936 in Manchester the daughter of the late Henri and Jeanne (Tessier) Pichette. She attended St. Jean the Baptist Grammar School and graduated from St. Joseph High School. She was a lifelong resident of the Manchester area.

Connie worked as a meter maid in Manchester during the 1960's. Later she worked in the cafeteria at Parker Varney School.

Connie loved traveling with her husband, her children and annual trips with all of her siblings. They often visited the beach and Las Vegas on their travels.

She was a member of the Red Hat Society and the Bedford Seniors. Connie was a communicant of St. Elizabeth Seton Church.

Family members include her husband of 55 years, Armand Gagne of Bedford, daughter, Susan Lambert of Bedford, son, Mark Gagne and wife Kathryn of Texas, 2 grandchildren, Matthew and John Gagne both of Texas, 4 sisters, Claire O'Dowd of Manchester, Frances Pichette of Manchester, Pauline Begin of Merrimack and Lucille Marston of North Hampton, 4 brothers, Maurice Pichette of Bedford, Richard Pichette of California, Robert Pichette of Milford and Ronald Pichette of Manchester, special friend, Tammy Fitzmorris of Bedford and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by her brother, Andre Pichette.

Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM at Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Ave, Manchester. Burial will be at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen at 11:30 on Friday. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie's memory can be made to the Animal Rescue League of NH, 545 Route 101, Bedford, NH 03110.
