Constance Farwell Haskell, 89, of Manchester died Thursday, November 10, 2022 at Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH surrounded by her loving family. Born on May 27, 1933 in Manchester, Connie was the daughter of Herman and Dorothy (Drayton) Farwell. She grew up in Auburn and Manchester.
Connie worked at Amoskeag Bank, the Internal Revenue Service, the Manchester Youth Development Center, Mr. Bee’s Florist, Harris Poll, Louis Gilman Accountant, the Little Red Doll House, the US Census Bureau, Bektash Shriners of NH and the American Red Cross.
Connie gave freely of her love, support and time to anyone and everyone. She was a member of the 4-H Club, Eastern Star, a Den mother for the Boy Scouts of America, and a Brownie troop leader for Girl Scouts of America. Connie was a devoted member of St. Paul’s United Methodist Church. In service to God, Connie held numerous roles in the church. She was active in the choir, Disciple classes, and enjoyed planning seniors trips. Connie was also involved in the Elliot Hospital Associates Voluntaires. She relished spending time with her large family and friends and was happiest when she was in the middle of the activity. Connie’s other favorite pastimes were watching the Curse of Oak Island, genealogy, reading, puzzles, and spending time near the ocean.
Connie was married to Robert Haskell of Manchester on January 4, 1958. She is survived by their children Karen (Timothy) Holland of Peru ME, Jon (Patricia) of Danville, NH, Nancy (Ronald) Goyette of Manchester, NH, Craig (Lurene) of Manchester, NH, Marcia (Curt) Wilson of Stratham, NH, Brenda (Clifford) Haskell-Daley of Union City GA, Brian of Hooksett, NH, and her former daughter-in-law Christine Haskell of Peru, ME. Her grandchildren Scott, Jessica, Eric, Sean, Cherri, Liz, Alyx, Cheryl, Angela, Jessica, Nicholas, Kassandra, Timothy, Jocelyn, Deborah, Allison, Olivia, Amelia, Tucker, Tyrese, Rashawn, Kieley, Tahji, Shinell, Rashaun and Kenneth; her great grandchildren Jacob, Ashley, Issac, Caden, Emma, Garett, Justin, Elizabeth, Jessica, Amely, Logan, Colton, Justin, Keith and Abel, her brother Herman, nephews Fred and Ronnie and her favorite niece, Brenda Henk.
Connie was predeceased by her husband, Robert, her brother Robert Farwell, Ken and Iris Haskell, nephew Bruce, and grandson Timmy Holland.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Myrtle Kenney Foundation, St. Paul’s United Methodist Church, Bruce Rd., Manchester, NH. and to the American Red Cross.
SERVICES: Visitation will be, 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday, November 17th, 2022, at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover St. Manchester, NH. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Friday, November 18th, 2022, at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 335 Smyth Rd, Manchester, NH. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH. Family and friends are invited to attend.
