Constance Connie L. Montplaisir

Constance L. ''Connie'' Montplaisir, 59, of 8 Bedford Street, Bedford, NH died May 23, 2002 at Catholic Medical Center. She was born in Manchester, NH on October 14, 1942, the daughter of the late Roger and Martha (Towne) Laplante and had been a resident of Bedford for most of her life. Connie was devoted to her family. While her children were growing up she was very active with the Bedford Little League. She also managed a Satuday Night Couples Bowling League for a number of years. She had many interests include family geneology, reading, crossword puzzle and yard sales. She worked for Ted Herbert Music Mart as a bookkeeper for over 30 years. Family members include her husband of 36 years, Jean Edward ''Ed'' Montplaisir, a son Ronald Montplaisir, both of Bedford, two daughters Jeanne Montplaisir of Corvalis, Montana,Angela Montplaisir of Manchester, two granddaughters, one great granddaughter, predeceased by a granddaughter, Kaya Montplaisir, a sister Theresa Langton of Manchester, one uncle, one aunt, several nephews, nieces and cousins. SERVICES: Calling hours will be at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday morning at 11 o'clock in St. Raphael Church. Donations may be made to the NH SIDS Alliance, P.O. Box 1781, Derry, NH 03038.
