Constance Ann "Connie" Moquin

MANCHESTER – Constance A. "Connie" (Brown) Moquin, 81, of Manchester, passed away on November 14, 2015 at the Elliot Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manchester on October 3, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Dennis and Yvonne (St. Jean) Brown.
Connie attended St. Patrick's Grammar School and St. Joseph Girls High School, Class of 1953. In her early years she worked for Bell Telephone and later she worked for many years at Saint Anselm College in Dining Services. Connie enjoyed traveling, taking trips to the beach with her sister Joan and her family. She especially enjoyed Lake Winnipesaukee, Florida, Ogunquit Maine, and Cape Cod. On Sunday's they enjoyed luncheons, shopping, dinner and the theater.


Loving aunt of Cheryl A. (O'Brien) Dubois and her husband Bruce of Laconia, formerly of Manchester. Dear great-aunt of Benjamin A. Dubois of Portland, Maine and Brian A. Dubois and his wife Colleen of Manchester. Devoted and caring sister of the late Joan F. Rocheleau, who passed away this past February. Longtime dear friend of the late Walter R. Moore Sr. Also survived by her nieces, Lucille Slaughter, Patti Bustead, Linda Lacz, and her nephew David Masson. Connie was pre-deceased by her former husband Henri "Hank" Moquin.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at the Hanover Hill Nursing Home and the Elliot Hospital Emergency Department and ICU for all of their compassionate care and kindness to Connie.

SERVICES: Family and friends will honor and remember Connie's life by gathering for calling hours in The Phaneuf Funeral Home, 250 Coolidge Avenue (corner of Bremer Street) Manchester on Wednesday, November 18th, from 10:30am to 12:30 p.m., before leaving in procession to the Parish of Transfiguration, 107 Alsace St. (corner of Kelley Street) Manchester where her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donation may be made to the American Diabetes Association , PO BOX 11454, Alexandria, VA 22312 or to a charity of one's choice.
