Cora Hudon, 85, of Manchester died September 17, 2006 at Elliot Hospital following a period of declining health. She was born on February 11, 1921 in Manchester the daughter of Hormidas and Aurore (Amelotte) Dionne. Cora worked for MKM (Manchester Knitting Mills) for many years and had worked part time at the original Dunkin Donuts on Elm Street. She and her husband, Adrien retired to Daytona Beach, Florida where they spent ten years before returning to New Hampshire in the early 1990s. They loved the beach and created countless memories there. Adrien died in 1995 after the couple shared 57 years together. Cora was a loving wife, mother and great supporter, and friend to her grandchildren whom she adored. Family members include; four sons, Frank Hudon of Franklin, Roland Hudon of Leesburg, FL, Arthur Hudon of Merrimack and Donald Hudon of Litchfield; three daughters, Georgette Jobin of Manchester, Muriel Lortie of Chester and Lorraine Doucet of Leesburg, FL; 17 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; three sisters, Georgette Chauvette of Goffstown, Marie Miville of Manchester and Doris Couture of Bedford; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Cora was predeceased by two sons, Maurice Hudon and Richard Hudon. There will be a Memorial Mass on Saturday, September 23rd at 10:00 AM at St. Augustin Church with interment to follow in St. Augustin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Visiting Nurse Association, 1850 Elm Street, Manchester, NH 03104 or to Easter Seals, 555 Auburn Street, Manchester, NH 03103. Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium is in charge of arrangements.
