Corinne Paquette

Corinne J. Paquette, 75, passed away on December 1, 2014, at Bedford Hills, after a valiant struggle with Parkinson's Disease.

Born on September 30, 1939, in Manchester, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bernadette Paquette. Raised and educated in Manchester, she was educated at St. Anthony Elementary School, Miss Jacques School, and a graduate of Central High School. Prior to retirement, Corinne had been employed for 19 years at Cushcraft in Manchester. One of her great joys in life was meeting Louis Armstrong and his wife in his dressing room at the Casino Ballroom.

Corinne had a wonderful sense of humor, great smile, and loved just about everyone she met. She tried to remember the names of everyone she met so she could greet them and make them smile. Her great guiding mantra was "You get further with honey than vinegar."

Corinne spent many happy years with her dear friends at the Gallen High Rise in Manchester. She spent her last year at Bedford Hills Center in Bedford being cared for by wonderful and compassionate staff that helped fill her days with activities and joy. Corinne loved trivia games and dine outs where she would order her favorite, the Fisherman's Platter. Corinne was a ray of sunshine in all our lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Corinne is survived by her two brothers, Robert and wife Penny Paquette of Marblehead, MA, and Mark and wife Nancy Paquette of Wilmington, DE; her two sisters, Lucille and husband Stephen Dorr of Bedford, and Margo and husband Harry Gagnon of Concord; her sister-in-law, Barbara Paquette of Manchester; several nieces, nephews, and countless loyal and caring friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, John Paquette.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services will be held privately at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Corinne's memory to The Caregivers Inc, 19 Harvey Rd., Unit 11, Bedford, NH 03110.
