Craig M. Bento

Craig M. Bento, 31, of 12 Sybil Lane, Litchfield, died on August 1, 2002 as a result of injuries sustained from an automobile accident. He was born in Providence, RI, on September 9, 1970, the son of Richard and Sheila (Dunphy) Bento, Sr., and had been a resident of Litchfield for most of his life. He was a 1989 graduate of Alvirne High School. He was employed by the Teamsters Union Local 633. He enjoyed all sports and played softball for the Merrimack Men's League. He also liked to camp. Family members include his parents of Litchfield, a son, Cameron Bento of Litchfield and a daughter Kailey Bento of Litchfield; his maternal grandmother, Matilda Dunphy of Pawtutcket, RI; his paternal grandmother, Alda Bento of Pawtucket, RI; a brother, Richard Bento Jr., of Manchester; a sister, Traci O'Malley of Nashua; and several nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts and cousins. Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at noon in Ste.
