Crystal A. Seymore-Prechek, 61, of Manchester, passed away on March 24, 2024 in her home. She is the loving mother to 5 amazing children, who she loved and cared for deeply.
Crystal was born in New York City to Ethel (Nettles) Beverly and Edward Seymore on February 16, 1963. A hardworking woman from the start, she obtained her GED in 3 years’ time, and dedicated 19 years of her life to the United States Army. She was on active duty for a number of years, stationed in Georgia and the Carolinas, and serving in Desert Storm. She moved to Manchester, NH to become a police officer and start a new life with her family, continuing her education and earning her Master’s Degree! After her youngest daughter Zavia was born, Crystal made the decision to stay home and spend time with her family. She was an avid reader and enjoyed drawing & painting in her spare time. She also loved to write, and most notably had a phenomenal poem featured in “Timeless Voices”, a poetry book sponsored by Reader’s Digest. She was an intelligent, kind-hearted woman whose presence will be missed by family and friends alike.
Along with her husband Derek, Crystal is survived by her children, Zavia Prechek, Zyimira Prechek, Erik Seymore and the mother(s) to his children, Melissa Jacob & Ashley Nicole, Jeffrey Seymore and his partner Dezz Gionet; her sister Belinda Scarboro, and family dog Sorrel Prechek. She was also the loving grandmother to 16 grandchildren.
She was predeceased in 2013 by her daughter Tahyna Morris, and her parents, Edward and Ethel, who are missed dearly.
