Curtis J. Northrup

Curtis John Northrup, 65, of Auburn, passed away on November 7, 2021. He is the loving husband of Robin (Stevens) Northrup with whom he celebrated 40 years of marriage.

Curtis was born in Hartford, CT to Richard J. and Harriet M. (Moriarty) Northrup on March 19, 1956. He recently retired after 21 years from The Velcro Company in Manchester.
Curtis loved to travel. He and his wife frequently enjoyed road trips in their motorhome throughout the summer months, always visiting new places and most recently Niagra Falls, Gettysburg and Michigan.

Along with his wife Robin, Curtis is survived by his children, Ashley and Joshua Northrup both of Auburn, nieces; Mary, Darcy, and Kristen and her spouse Rob, his uncle Raymond Twible and many cousins; Debra Fregin, Kelly and Dave Fox, and Erin Twible whom he loved very much. He is predeceased by step siblings, Richard and Joan McCabe.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 12th from 5-7pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A Memorial Service will follow at 7pm the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend.

Curtis’ family would like to share that he was a recent recipient of a liver transplant which had extended his life by several months. For those who wish to make a memorial contribution, the family encourages you to give that opportunity to someone else’s loved one by becoming an organ donor.
