Daisy Mae Calhoun

Daisy Mae Calhoun, the first child of Ruth Esther and Jed William Calhoun, born at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH on October 28, 2022, has passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family. Daisies symbolize innocence and purity as well as embody childbirth, motherhood, and new beginnings, all of which are represented by Ruth and Jed’s beloved Daisy Mae.

When Daisy Mae entered the world, she was surrounded by love. She made Bill and Holly grandparents for the first time and was the fifth grandchild to Angel and Christina, as well as being the first great grandchild for Dave, Shirley, Bob, and Bettie. Daisy Mae was Rory, Lyla, and Zulie’s fifth cousin, the first niece to Olivia, Conner, and Ryland, and Catherine, Raquel, Ron, Bianca, and Patricia’s fifth niece. Daisy has made a profound impact on all who love her. Her family finds comfort in Luke 18:16 -“But Jesus called them to him, saying, ‘Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.’ “And to think, when she opened her eyes, she saw the face of Jesus."

Friends and family are welcome to gather at Grace Community Evangelical located at 49 Old Swanzey Rd. Spofford, NH 03462 beginning at 5pm on Wednesday November 9, 2022. A funeral service will begin promptly at 6pm, with a reception to follow. Burial will be private. For those who may not be able to attend in person, the service will be lived streamed, and can be viewed at https://graceefcspofford.online.church/.
