Dale Thornton Jackson

Dale T. Jackson, 81, beloved husband, father and friend, died Friday, March 25, 2011, at Merrimack County Nursing Home in Boscawen with family by his side.
He was born, November 7, 1929, in Medford, MA, the son of George T. and Bernice L. (Dame) Jackson. He was one of 16 children; 9 brothers and 6 sisters.
A U.S. Army Sergeant and Veteran (1948-1952). He owned and operated Jackson & Sons, Painting Contractors, Inc. until his retirement in 2006. He was a member of various Snowmobile Clubs; on the Planning Board for the Town of Boscawen and Volunteer OHRV Safety Instructor for the N.H. Fish and Game Department.
Dale was a Boscawen, NH, resident. He enjoyed many outdoor activities and hobbies including snowmobiling, waterskiing, camping, motorcycle riding, deep sea fishing, and was an avid NASCAR fan.
Dale was a very special person who touched many lives in his years with us. He loved his family, friends and his dogs. His love of color made the world a more beautiful place and his love of family was unending.
He is survived by his wife Maureen M. (Bergeron) Jackson of Boscawen , NH, his children, Ronald Jackson of Las Vegas, NV, Christopher Jackson and Wendy Buco of Salem, NH, Jerry Poulin, and wife Lisa of Boscawen, NH, Jeffrey Jackson of FL, David M. Poulin and wife Karen of Concord, NH, Gayle Jackson of Salisbury, MA, Susan and James Luccisano of Methuen, MA, Lynda M. Poulin of Tustin, CA, and Cathy Jackson of Salisbury, MA and a very large extended family with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

A Memorial Gathering will be Tuesday, March 29, 2011, from 10:00 – 11:00 am. with a Celebration of Life at 11:00 am in the Phaneuf Funeral Home, 172 King Street, Boscawen, NH 03303.
